JDH Manufacturer’s Representatives LLC also manufactures certain products itself. These items are used in robots, industrial equipment, refrigeration, air conditioning and fan motors. They include:

Universal Brush Frame 42/48/58
Used mostly in high-volume air movement in suction or high-pressure blowing applications, such as vacuum cleaners or blowers for aeration in spas/hot tubs, these motors are an old, mature technology, as the brushed wear and limit the life of the motor. This is one of our sourced items, please contact us for a quote.

Shaded Pole
Another one of our sourced technology, the shaded pole motors are used in applications where high starting torque or high efficiency are not required, such as for bath fans, or for low efficiency condenser and evaporator fans for smaller refrigeration applications.

ECM
If you require high efficiency, a high degree of control and speed variations – such as condenser and evaporator fans for refrigeration applications, condenser and blower fans for residential and commercial HVAC applications, this is the motor for you. All smaller sizes (sub 30 watts) are made in our VN facility under the Wellington brand name. We are currently developing motors with Wellington to reach up to 120 watts in power; until then, we have several options to source such motors via partner factories in China.

12V
Typically used in small devices, such as toothbrushes, electric razors and automotive applications, these motors are also a type of brushed motor. This is another one of our sourced items; we have at least two suppliers we use regularly for our microdermabrasion device.

PSC Fractional HP 1/6,1/5,1/4,1/3,1/2,3/4,1
One of the most common types of motors in the 40 watt to one HP range, these motors are considered middle-range induction, as they possess a higher starting torque and higher efficiency than shaded pole motors – they also typically handle multiple fixed speeds better. However, they are not as efficient or as flexible/controllable as EC motors. We make PSC, fractional HP motors in our JV China facility, called CBM. We also have sources to handle overflow projects which are not a great fit for our own JV facility.

Custom Geared Direct Drive
When power and speed are required in automation, these custom and standard key drives are the key. Applications can run from drive units for robots running along the floor to hexapod actuation. Standard models exist, and we have domestic and offshore sources.

Cast Urethane Heavy Duty Drive Wheels
The range for these wheels vary enormously from slow speed heavy loads to high-speed heavy loads, with robotic drive units being an excellent examples. These wheels exceed all competition in terms of durability and wear. The base substrate can be any cast and/or machined metal appropriate for the job or composite. They can be customized for any applications, and are supplied via off shore only.

Urethane Casters and Assemblies
These casters are for high speed and have a unique formulation. Custom design for applications is available.
